Bay Village Tropical Retreat is located in the heart of Cairns. Just one block from the popular Cairns Esplanade Waterfront, 900 metres to the city centre and just across the hospital. Cairns is famously the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and is an ideal base to explore Tropical North Queensland.

Room was very clean. Well located for hospital and easy walk to CBD and esplanade. Staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble.we had a 1 bedroom suite with kitchenette. Ordered continental breakfast to the room. It was lovely. Reasonably priced. Nice Balinese restaurant onsite. Always busy didn’t get a chance to dine there.
This was a lovely hotel just off the Esplanade. Although we were only there for one night the staff could not have been more accommodating to our requests, even letting us change our room so we could have a later checkout.If I am ever back in Cairns again I will definitely use this hotel.
Apartments are good size, clean and spacious, walking distance to town centre and promenade, staff on reception were polite and manageress was extremely helpful and easy to speak with. We did not make full use of the reception area until leaving day but it is definitely worth checking it out as very relaxing and well kept area.
Nicely finished motel: Excellent rooms (layout, decor, maintained) and the central pool garden area was very well done and restful.Their Balinese restaurant is 4/5. Extremely good value for money (other motels we stayed at or looked at either cost more for the same, or were not as good for the same price).
